What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and the messages you send us through it. It does not cover the ONE product. When an organisation uses ONE, the data processed in ONE is governed by that organisation's agreement with us and by its own policies.

What we collect

  • Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit, kept to run and secure the website.
  • Cookies. We use only the cookies needed for the website to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. To count visits we use privacy-friendly analytics that sets no cookies and does not follow you across websites.

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and follow up on it.
  • To assess your application and, if you agree, to contact you about future roles.
  • To run, secure and improve the website.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Legal basis

We process personal data in line with the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021 and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Depending on the purpose, we rely on your consent, on steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, on our legal obligations, or on our legitimate interest in running and securing our business.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our communications, such as hosting and email providers, under contracts that require them to protect it, and with authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UAE. Where they do, we make sure the transfer is permitted under ADGM data protection law and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact and applications for up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you agree to a longer period. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. After that, we delete or anonymise the data.

Security

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access control and regular review of who can see what.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@fluentya.ae; we will answer within the time the law sets. You can also complain to the ADGM Office of Data Protection.
